we, Prof. Dr. med. Siegfried Jedamzik and Dr. med. Dipl.-Psych. Friedemann Müller, have jointly launched an initiative to redefine the care process in the aftercare of stroke patients with spasticity. As a professor of computer science, chairman of the board of GOIN eV - www.goin.info. - and MediBayern eV - www.medi-bayern.de - , and with over 30 years of experience as a family doctor, Prof. Dr. Jedamzik brings deep insights into the medical care of stroke patients with spasticity. Dr. med. Dipl.-Psych. Friedemann Müller. Throughout our careers, we have had an ongoing dialogue with healthcare professionals, including neurologists, chief physicians of neurological and rehabilitation facilities, and representatives of the general practitioner association and specialist associations for internal medicine. It became clear that the care of stroke patients with spasticity could be significantly improved.
To meet this challenge, we have taken the initiative and developed a spasticity app. This innovative application enables patients to identify their need for neurological care for spasticity at an early stage through self-monitoring and facilitates access to guideline-compliant botulinum toxin (BoNT) care, an area in which there is an acute shortage of specialized neurologists.
Our efforts to build and expand a network of experienced neurologists have received widespread support. Numerous neurology associations, specialists throughout Germany, chief physicians of neurological clinics and rehabilitation clinics, as well as the general practitioners' association and associations of specialists in internal medicine have expressly welcomed the activities of Dr. Müller and Prof. Dr. Jedamzik and pledged their support.
If you are not yet a member of the network, we would now like to invite you to become part of this emerging network. Through your participation, we can significantly increase the currently very limited distribution of BoNT treatments and give every stroke patient with spasticity access to this essential treatment. Together, we have the opportunity to close the gap in care and implement comprehensive, guideline-compliant care.

As a management company, we negotiate contracts with health insurance companies and offer doctors the opportunity to work together. A BoNT center can also be your practice or clinic if you have experienced doctors who can inject BoNT or if you are willing to take part in further training to familiarize your doctors with the therapy.
In your BoNT center you can treat patients with spasticity who are referred to you by their family doctor or other clinics.
In addition, patients have the opportunity to contact the BTA directly via the spasticity app www.telemedallianz.de. We offer the option of arranging an appointment for an online video consultation doccura www.doccura.de or an appointment at your BoNT center.
As a BoNT center, you simply need to agree to a shared appointment calendar with the available time slots in your practice or clinic so that we can schedule an appointment for the patient at your location.
